** About the opportunity:
**** Retirement Village Manager
** to oversee the day to day operations of our vibrant
** Parkville Retirement Village**, including the development of in-home services.
** In this role you will:
*** Assist in delivering the Mercy Health Seniors Living service offering
* Enhance and develop relationships with Seniors Living residents, potential customers and their representatives
* Collaborate with our National sales team to promote sales and marketing of the Village
* Liaise with our national maintenance team to assist with unit refurbishments aligned with settlement time frames
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements with the aim to achieve Accreditation across the portfolio
* Assist with Seniors Living development projects
* Work with the Precinct Manager and the wider Seniors Living leadership team to create Villages with open and transparent relationships between clients, residents and staff to ensure that communities operate efficiently and to the highest standards
* Ensure residents and clients experience a positive customer journey from beginning to end within the broader Mercy Health community.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
* Prior management and customer relations experience in the retirement village sector desirable
* Tertiary qualification desired (e.g., Marketing, Management, Sales, Property)
* Business acumen and retirement village knowledge relating to budgets, occupancy, compliance and accreditation standards or a willingness to learn
* An understanding of the requirements in Retirement Village operations including statutory requirements, agreements and disclosures, asset management, sales and marketing, and excellence in relationship and service management or a willingness to learn
* Able to build rapport, negotiate and maintain effective relations with residents and all stakeholders and balance multiple demands
* Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
* A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective resident care and management.
* Demonstrated understanding of a human rights approach to person-centred services and an ability to work in a team environment
