About the chronic pelvic pain (CPP) team

The CPP is a multidisciplinary team that helps support women with chronic pelvic pain.

The CPP Nurse Consultant is an experienced practitioner who uses evidence-based practice in the nursing management of chronic pelvic pain patients to optimise their health outcomes.

About the role

As a CPP Nurse Consultant, you coordinate the CPP clinic, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes. In addition, you provide consultation, assessment, and care planning to assist patients in making informed choice about their ongoing healthcare needs.

A regular day will see you:

  • Assess patient’s pain
  • Review medications
  • Coordinate clinics
About you

You’ll bring with you:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 5 years nursing experience with a keen interest in women’s health nursing and/or chronic pain nursing
  • Relevant clinical experience with demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement
