Salary: $23–$30 per hour, DOE.
Clinic
Hours:
Mon–Fri 8:00 am‑6:00 pm;
Sat 8:00 am‑1:00 pm.
Schedule:
4 days per week with rotating Saturdays.
- Team‑oriented culture.
- Soft‑tissue and selected orthopedic surgery; advanced orthopedics performed by mobile surgeon.
- In‑house specialties: liver biopsies, advanced diagnostics, and more.
- Diagnostic ultrasound available.
- Registered Veterinary Technician license (RVT) in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience.
- Skilled in venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
- Proficient with dental prophylaxis, charting, and dental radiographs.
- Experienced in anesthesia monitoring and induction.
- Comfortable educating clients and explaining vaccination protocols.
- Proficient with Avimark software and Idexx lab equipment.

Responsibilities may vary by state and hospital but typically include:
- Providing comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments and monitoring anesthesia.
- Performing laboratory work and contributing to surgical and medical procedures.
- Mentoring and guiding team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Serving as a key contact for pet owners, educating them on treatments and questions.
- Actively participating in training, giving feedback, and upholding high hospital standards.
- Graduate of an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Current state veterinary technician license (RVT) in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Calm and efficient approach, especially in fast‑paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and passion for working collaboratively.
- Preferred: one year of experience in the veterinary industry.
