Graphics CoE Packaging Associate Technologist

Experteer Overview  In this role, you drive the end-to-end design-to-print process for packaging graphics, balancing quality, sustainability, and efficiency. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality, cost, and timelines while upholding global graphics standards. You will innovate and validate graphic solutions, support digitalization, and ensure compliance with food safety and ESG goals. This position offers the chance to shape packaging experiences at a global scale within Barilla’s packaging ecosystem.
Retribuzione / Benefits   Develop and industrialize new graphics for projects, ensuring alignment with approved artworks
Ensure graphics solutions meet food safety requirements and ESG standards
Collaborate with project leaders and WBS team to meet quality, cost, and timeline targets
Provide technical guidance to Packaging Development units to enforce global graphics standards
Support Purchasing and Quality & Food Safety in vendor and printer oversight and continuous improvement
Execute Design to Value and PCM projects to balance perceived quality and cost
Manage the artwork approval process for the technical graphic scope
Contribute to the development and updating of Global Graphics procedures to harmonize practices
Contribute to digitalization initiatives to improve team efficiency
Support Marketing with trials, mockups, and proofs of concept for new solutions
Engage in cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, Purchasing, Marketing to align on packaging strategy
Responsabilità   Master’s degree in a relevant field
2–3 years of packaging experience in packaging graphics, agencies, repro-houses, or graphic offices
English and Italian fluency
Willingness to travel globally (~10–15%)
Strong communication and negotiation skills, assertiveness, international mindset, planning capability, results orientation
Experience in project management is a plus
