Position: Quality Control (QC) Manager
The Davines Group, founded in Parma in 1983, specializes in professional cosmetic products under the brands Davines for haircare and [comfort zone] for skincare.

JOB MISSION

What You Will Do

Ensure compliance with company quality standards and objectives defined by Quality Assurance (QA) and validated by the Technical Director.

Oversee product control and testing for raw materials, bulk, and finished products to detect defects or deviations.

Define, implement, and monitor quality control methodologies, analytical procedures, and problem‑solving tools.

Lead the investigation and resolution of non‑conformities, coordinating root cause analysis and collaborating with Quality Assurance on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) implementation.

Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to identify improvement opportunities and support data‑driven decisions.

Collaborate with Production, Research and Development (R&D), Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure product integrity and process robustness.

Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Control team to ensure high performance and alignment with company quality objectives.

Support internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance with standards and regulations.

Who You Are

At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control roles within manufacturing environments, preferably in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food or chemical industries.

Solid knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards (ISO 9001; GMP).

Strong understanding of quality tools and problem‑solving methodologies: PDCA, DMAIC, FMEA/PFMEA.

Experience in developing and implementing control plans to ensure process and product quality.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and quality performance indicators.

Experience working in structured and continuous improvement environments;
Lean methodologies are a plus.

Familiarity with data management systems and digital analysis tools.

Fluent English.

Nice to Have

QC Pillar Leader certification within World Class Manufacturing (WCM).

Green Belt certification or higher (Lean Six Sigma).

Additional certifications in Lean methodologies (LEAN).

Experience in ISO 17025‑accredited laboratories.

Soft Skills

The indicated salary range (€68.000– €75.000) represents the expected hiring range for this position, with consideration to the criteria indicated and requested. Actual compensation may vary depending on the experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
