K-3rd Grade Teacher

Constellation Schools are seeking a highly-qualified K‑3rd Grade Teacher in Parma, Ohio, dedicated to providing a superior education for all students. The teacher will be passionate about bringing the curriculum to life, creating a positive classroom environment prioritizing student learning and social‑emotional development.

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with flexibility during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet all students’ needs.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research‑based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive learning environment.
• Use school‑approved curricula that reflect diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds.
• Implement school‑wide culture expectations and norms.
• Communicate with families about students’ academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Integrate technology skills into daily classroom practice.
• Participate in planning and implementation of non‑instructional activities as needed.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Active and current Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Comfortable working in a growth‑focused coaching environment involving frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Ability to supervise students of various ages in different school settings (playground, cafeteria, etc.).
• Pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience working within an urban environment.

Compensation
The salary range is $38,500‑$48,000, with adjustments based on geography, skills, education, experience, and qualifications.
