Radiology Specialty Tech I – Parma
Join the Metro Health System (Cleveland, OH) as a Radiology Specialty Tech I in Parma.

Shift: Day shift, variable start, weekend and call rotation

Primary Patient Population- Underserved population in the Greater Cleveland area
- Trauma/Emergency Patients
- Stroke Patients
- Cancer Patients
- Orthopedics, Podiatry, Neurology, PM&R, and more.
- Operating Room & Pain Management (Parma & Brecksville only)
- Bone Densitometry (Parma Only)
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- IV Starts
- Produce quality CT/XR images in various settings
- Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
- On‑spot critical thinking
- Effective communication skills
- Function well under stress and with minimal supervision
- Work well both independently and as part of the CT/XR team
- The CT/XR staff work closely with nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists and other care team members throughout the hospital to provide the best care possible for all Metro Health patients.
- All CT scanners are ACR Accredited
- Early life cycle CT and X‑Ray equipment at Brecksville, Cleveland Heights, and Parma
- All CT/XR technologists credentialed through ARRT
- Perform a variety of technical procedures utilizing CT (Computed Tomography) & X‑Ray scanning equipment in the diagnosis of diseases in humans.
- Functions in a multi‑purpose role depending on the needs of the patients and the department, and in line with The Metro Health System approved policies and procedures in accordance with specific governing ODH regulations.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment
- Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)
- American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period
- One‑year related experience, as well as advanced certification through the ARRT in CT
- May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day
- May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
- May need to sit or stand for extended periods
- See in the normal visual range with or without correction
- Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction
