HHA, Home Health Aide

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team in providing essential care to clients in their homes. As an HHA, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily living activities and monitoring their overall well-being.

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises as instructed by healthcare professionals.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs, reporting any changes to a supervisor.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and understood.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and activities, as needed.
• Document clients' progress and any significant changes in their condition.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Home Health Aide certification/license as required by state regulations.
• Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in various situations.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license may be required.

• The position involves regular travel to clients’ homes.
• Flexible work schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical requirements may include prolonged periods of standing and lifting clients.
