The Nursing Assistant II (NA II) is an entry-level position specifically designed for current nursing students aiming to enrich their preparation for a nursing career. Under the guidance of an experienced nurse, you will acquire valuable hands‑on experience by providing safe, efficient, age‑specific care to patients and families in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and/or sustain optimal health status.
The role is designed to build upon the experience gained in the classroom and during clinical rotations.
- Direct patient care delivery, including, but not limited to: ADLs/hygiene, Vital signs, I&O, Bladder scanning, EKG, Glucometer & other point of care testing (where applicable) and Restraints
- Communication and documentation of interventions and observations
- Participation in quality improvement process
