Contract Tax Support Associate (6+ Months) – Parsippany, NJ
Potential for Permanent Hire | Ideal for December Accounting Graduates | $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
A well-established company in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Contract Tax Support Associate to join its growing team. This is a minimum 6‑month contract role with strong potential to convert to a permanent position, offering an excellent pathway for individuals completing their Accounting degree in December and looking to launch their career in tax or corporate finance.
Responsibilities:- Assist with preparation, review, and filing of tax documents and supporting schedules
- Support the tax team during busy season with reporting, data entry, and documentation management
- Reconcile accounts and validate financial data related to tax filings
- Assist with tax research projects and maintain organized work papers
- Coordinate with cross‑functional departments to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company procedures
- Willingness to engage in more clerical/administrative tasks (i.e. filing, sorting mail, etc.)
- Completion of an Accounting degree by December (or Winter semester)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a deadline‑driven environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented approach
- A structured 6+ month contract with potential for long‑term growth
- Hands‑on exposure to corporate tax operations
