Marotta Controls is seeking an Electrical or Software Engineer to support the development of Special and/or Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the Power and Control Actuation Systems (PAS) business unit. The applicant should have a background in Electrical or Software Engineering with demonstrated skills in the development of power supply, motor control, and power distribution unit testing.

• Design test systems including Test Consoles and Interface Test Adapters (ITA)
• Develop Test Equipment System Requirements (TE SRR), Test Equipment Design (TE PDR/CDR), and Test Equipment Validation Procedures/Reports
• Use various laboratory equipment (e.g., power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes) and automate testing utilizing said equipment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems and determine root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)
• Perform and complete SDRLs and other documents regarding Test Plans/Procedures, Validation Plans/Procedures, and other related engineering deliverables.
• Work with outside vendors and suppliers.

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar is required
• Experience in Test Engineering / Test Equipment design for power electronics system testing
• Experience designing test systems utilizing a Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA)
• Must be a U.S. citizen

• Test equipment hardware selection, electrical schematic generation, EEE parts selection

$110,000 – $123,000 per year
