BOBST is one of the world’s leading suppliers of equipment and services to packaging and label manufacturers in the folding carton, corrugated board and flexible materials industries. We are looking for a new team member to provide world‑class service for world‑class machines and to serve as the front‑line representative for the BOBST product range.
Travel90% travel required. Candidates must be flexible to travel extensively throughout the US and Canada. Ideal candidates are located within 1 hour of a major international airport.
Key ResponsibilitiesMachine service (mechanical and electrical), including repair and installation of new machines, relocation of existing equipment, customer training, preventative maintenance, ordering parts, troubleshooting problems, and proactively recommending necessary service and maintenance programs.
Key Skills & Attributes- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the packaging industry or finishing/converting industry working as a mechanic on Bobst die‑cutter or similar equipment
- Background in mechanical engineering
- Diagnosing faults and making recommendations in customer environments
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Minimum of 5 years of mechanical field service experience
- Strong analysis skills and attention to detail
- Independent, responsible work style
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi‑task in a dynamic environment
- Fluency with the metric system
- Technical school or college related to mechanics, hydraulics, technology science, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics engineering

The base salary for this position is estimated to range between $70,000 and $80,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
