Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an Early Career Geotechnical / Civil Engineer to support site development and construction projects through field inspections, reporting and technical analysis. This role offers a mix of office and field work with strong mentorship and professional growth.

• Review engineering plans, specifications and technical reports.
• Perform field inspections and testing for fills, foundations, retaining walls, utilities, asphalt and concrete.
• Document field observations and assist with report preparation.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors and senior engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2 years of geotechnical, site civil or environmental experience (internship or construction experience preferred).
• EIT or ability to pursue PE licensure.
• OSHA HAZWOPER, ACI, NICET or related certifications a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Word and Excel.
• Exposure to geotechnical software (GSLOPE, Rocscience, Key Wall) preferred.

• Combination of office and field work; outdoor work varies by project and weather conditions.
• Ability to work on uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs; PPE required in the field.

• $55,000–$80,000 base salary.
• Mileage reimbursement, benefits, PTO, tuition assistance, 401(k) and bonus potential.
