Tax Senior Manager - Sales and Use Tax (SALT)

This hybrid role will support our National Tax Team and provide sales tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base.

Team members are expected to collaborate in‑person at the office an average of 3 days a week, while maintaining flexibility that supports both client and personal needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide sales tax compliance and consulting services involving audit controversy, due diligence, tax projections, research for a diverse client base, and more.
• Enhance project and task management skills; manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Interact directly with clients on a regular basis to understand and serve their needs.
• Collaborate with the broader Cohn Reznick team to deliver high‑quality service and participate in webinars, seminars, and networking events.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
  Master’s in Tax is a plus.
• CPA, CMA, CMI, JD, or EA required.
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive indirect tax experience, with a focus on U.S. sales and use tax.
• Proficiency with sales tax compliance software (preferably Avalara for Accountants).
• Strong experience researching and addressing multi‑state sales tax matters.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, including advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of tax software such as CCH and RIA Checkpoint.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task.
• Travel required – approximately 10%.
