Retirement Plan Education Consultant Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Retirement Plan Education Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting retirement plan participation and providing educational support to employees of our client companies. You will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their retirement savings, ultimately helping them achieve financial security in retirement.
In addition, you will be responsible for passing qualified leads to our wealth management advisors.

Education:
Conduct informative and engaging educational sessions for employees of client companies to increase awareness and understanding of retirement plan benefits, investment options, and savings strategies. - Enrollment Assistance: Facilitate retirement plan enrollment meetings and individual consultations to guide employees through the enrollment process, explain plan features, and educate on appropriate investment options.
- Customized Presentations: Develop customized educational materials, presentations, and online resources tailored to the specific needs and demographics of client companies and their employees.
- Financial Wellness Workshops: Organize and lead workshops on financial wellness topics, including budgeting, debt management, and retirement planning, to promote overall financial literacy and well-being.
- One-on-One
Coaching:
Provide personalized retirement planning guidance to employees on topics such as retirement income projections, asset allocation, and distribution strategies. - Lead Generation: Identify and qualify employees within the client companies who are candidates for OnePoint Wealth Management services.
- Compliance Support: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to retirement plan education and enrollment activities, including adherence to ERISA guidelines and fiduciary responsibilities.
- Data Analysis: Analyze participant data and retirement plan metrics to identify trends, assess participation rates, and recommend strategies for increasing plan engagement and effectiveness.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with client company representatives, plan sponsors, and retirement plan service providers to foster collaboration and support ongoing plan initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices in retirement plan education and participant engagement to enhance program effectiveness and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, human resources, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in retirement plan education, participant communication, or financial counseling is highly desirable.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and engaging manner to diverse audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach and the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
- Knowledge of retirement plan types (e.g., 401(k), 403(b), pension plans), investment products, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with retirement planning software, financial modeling tools, and participant communication platforms is a plus.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS), or similar industry certifications preferred but not required.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate employee schedules.
