Front of House Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of Madmen Kitchen. A fit candidate will have a passion for the food industry, resilient leadership skills, and experience in managing front-of-house operations. Madmen Kitchen is a start-up elevated fast food restaurant that is set to open in early June. The hours of operation will be 2pm to 10:30pm (Tuesday-Thursday), 2pm to 1am (Friday and Saturday), and 12pm to 10:30pm (Sunday).

• Manage and lead the front-of-house staff: cashiers, bussers, and delivery drivers
• Ensure excellent customer service satisfaction
• Oversee orders in-person, online, by phone, and wait times
• Train new employees on service standards and company policies
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
• Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally
• Keep a clean and organized front of house environment and monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies
• Collaborate with the back-of-house team to maintain a seamless customer experience

• Previous experience in a hospitality management role
• Proficiency in LINGA POS or a similar point-of-sale system
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of catering procedures and event planning
• Ability to train new staff members and conduct future interviews
• A basic background in the food industry

* A Food Safety Certification of 5 years is required for this position; if you do not have this the employer will pay and provide you with one.
