Role Overview

The Business Process Automation Specialist will be a key member of the Data Technology and Digital Experience team, reporting to the IT Operations Director. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing low/no-code automation solutions and AI-driven agents that streamline business processes, enhance efficiency, and support TM Forum’s digital transformation initiatives. This role will leverage Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and integrate with our ecosystem of systems including Salesforce.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy automated business processes using Power Automate and other Power Platform tools.
  • Integrate enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and other SaaS platforms to enable seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Leverage AI technologies—including Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio—to build intelligent agents and enhance automation solutions.
  • Capture and analyze business requirements; translate them into effective, scalable automated solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all automation initiatives adhere to data governance and security standards.
  • Document solutions, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing, compliance, and supportability.
  • Monitor, measure, and optimize automation performance and reliability (e.g., error handling, alerting, and resilience).
Person Specification
  • Proven experience in business process automation using low code/no code platforms, including Power Automate.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange).
  • Hands‑on experience with AI in automation, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and agent‑building.
  • Strong understanding of AI best practices, data governance, privacy, and security principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to capture business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and change management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global, cross‑functional team.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities.

Strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to work.

Desired Skills
  • Workflow orchestration tools.
  • Experience with API integration.
  • Familiarity with Zapier and Salesforce Flow.
  • Knowledge of hyper automation frameworks.
