OverviewBe among the first 25 applicants and join a contract role as a Senior Desktop Support Engineer. The base pay range for this position is $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr depending on experience. Actual pay is determined by role, location, and factors such as skills, experience, and education. This role is based in New York, NY and may involve work across multiple offices.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for desktops, laptops, and applications across multiple offices.
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, resolving and documenting solutions.
- Lead small to medium IT projects including rollouts, upgrades, automation initiatives, and equipment installs.
- Administer Office 365, Azure AD, SCCM, Intune, and other internal applications.
- Collaborate with L3/L4 and infrastructure teams on patching, networking, VPNs, and hardware/software support.
- Automate routine tasks using Power Shell and drive process improvements.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level team members, ensuring excellent customer service for all users, including executives.
- 3+ years in a 2nd/3rd line support role, with 2+ years as a senior desktop engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, Intune, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with remote access technologies (AVD, VPN, OWA) and Power Shell scripting.
- ITIL Foundation certified or higher.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Proven ability to lead from a technical standpoint with a solution-oriented mindset.

- The base range for this contract position is $25 - $30 per hour depending on experience.
- Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and factors including skills, experience, and education or training.
