Temporary Deployment Center Technician

Join the Centralized Distribution Center (CDC) at Cohn Reznick and help configure and reclaim laptop and PC assets. This role is 100% on‑site in Parsippany, NJ, and requires a flexible schedule, including unconventional hours.

This position is part of the CDC team, reporting to the CDC Manager. It involves a 37.5‑hour work week and requires a candidate who is flexible, enthusiastic, and able to work its various shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver excellent service to our end‑user community, acting as the ambassador of the Global Digital & Cybersecurity (GDC) brand and providing users with essential computer hardware.

• Installation and maintenance of Windows operating systems
• Configure and dispose of computer hardware
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize with urgency
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff
• Provide a great customer experience and demonstrate extreme ownership of assigned work
• Assist technical staff in troubleshooting hardware and peripherals (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers, scanners)
• Maintain confidentiality, security, and discretion regarding firm information
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents ranging from simple to complex
• Adhere to all established policies, directives, and best practices
• Accommodate flexible work hours and occasional travel
• Test and maintain AV and IT equipment
• Manage inventory, help with help‑desk ticket resolution, oversee e‑waste disposal, and participate in IT asset management initiatives
• Support virtual IT initiatives and collaborate with office managers

• 2‑ or 4‑year degree (technology‑focused curricula preferred) or equivalent work experience
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or ITIL certifications strongly preferred
• Experience supporting a Microsoft environment and Microsoft Office 365 suite
• Knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 installation and maintenance
• Understanding of basic IT security concepts, including anti‑virus, spam blockers, mobile security (Lookout/MDM/Intune)
• Experience with 2‑factor authentication tools such as Bit Locker and Authenticator
• Understanding of LAN and TCP/IP concepts
• Experience with Service Now or a similar ITSM tool
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, and a methodical approach to problem identification and resolution

In New Jersey, the salary range for the CDC Technician is $26–28 per hour, dependent on experience and location. Compensation includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded parental benefits, and access to learning and development platforms.
