We consider a collaborative team approach critical to our ongoing success. Currently comprised of eight dedicated attorneys and a highly skilled paralegal, our team thrives under the expert guidance of Bob Bianchi, a former head county prosecutor, and David Bruno, a former major crimes prosecutor.

Our team meets three times per week at 9:30 a.m. for our "Huddle". These conference calls serve as vibrant forums where our team shares invaluable insights, knowledge, and expertise spanning case law, substantive law, procedural intricacies, client relations, and strategic planning.

We seek a hard-hitting criminal defense attorney with the grit to stand as an unwavering shield between our clients and the forces of law enforcement and prosecution. You must possess an unshakeable belief in the Constitution and the government's burden to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

• Expertly manage criminal jury trials from investigation through verdict, including pre-trial motions, jury selection, opening statements, witness examination, and closing arguments
• Handle final restraining order hearings in the family part with evidence presentation, direct examination, and cross-examination
• Represent clients in municipal court matters, including DWI/DUI allegations
• Develop comprehensive defense strategies, conduct legal research, draft motions and briefs, and prepare witnesses
• Participate in team huddles (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) to discuss legal issues and develop strategies
• Serve as a fierce advocate protecting constitutional rights
• Conduct vigorous cross-examination of law enforcement, expert witnesses, and adverse witnesses
• Draft and argue pre-trial motions to suppress evidence and dismiss charges
• Network with referral sources and generate new cases

Required:

• 5+ years of criminal defense or criminal litigation experience
• New Jersey bar admission in good standing (or ability to obtain through reciprocity)
• Proven jury trial experience from start to verdict
• Experience with domestic violence restraining order hearings
• Collaborative mindset for team huddles
• Strong advocacy skills and courtroom presence
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Our former Director of Central Appellate Research in the Appellate Division brings wealth of experience, having managed twenty-five appellate attorneys while conducting legal research for Appellate Division judges.
