Mid-Level to Senior Litigation Associate – Employment Litigation – Parsippany, NJ

Join Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP as an Employment Litigation Associate. We seek a bright attorney with 3+ years of experience in employment litigation to represent a wide variety of public and private employers from inception through trial and appeals. This role is based in Parsippany, NJ and offers a hybrid office/remote schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with senior litigators to develop litigation strategy for the defense of employment actions;
  • Draft and review pleadings, discovery, memos, briefs and other legal correspondence and litigation documents;
  • Analyze employment records;
  • Represent clients in court and before administrative agencies;
  • Participate in depositions, conferences, hearings, trials and all other aspects of employment litigation;
  • Interact with employment experts;
  • Conduct legal and employment research and analysis;
  • Draft motions;
  • Work cooperatively with others;
  • Interact with clients.
Education & Experience
  • Admission to practice in New Jersey;
  • At least 3 years of experience in employment litigation.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong legal research, writing and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to interact with clients and command client confidence;
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills;
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
