Process Engineer II - (1st/2nd/3rd shifts)

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
- Identify and resolve process‑related issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure all processes comply with industry regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of process changes, validations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including Production, Quality Assurance, and Validation, to support process improvements and new product introductions.
- Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering.
- Minimum three (3) years of engineering experience in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on aseptic processing and lyophilization.
- Knowledge of GMP requirements and regulations.
- Effective communication, interaction, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical skills and hands‑on troubleshooting abilities, with the capability to use analysis software and company quality system software.
- Flexibility to work weekends, off hours, and occasional holidays as needed to support continuous operations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods within the manufacturing plant.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and tools, typically weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, squatting, and reaching to access equipment.
- Keen eyesight for detailed inspection tasks.
- Adequate hearing to perceive alarms and machinery sounds.
- Occasionally required to climb ladders or stairs to access equipment.
- Ability to work in various plant environments, including clean rooms, laboratories, and production areas, sometimes requiring personal protective equipment (PPE).
Role will be based in Parsippany, NJ.

OurCompensation And Benefits
Base salary for this role ranges from $89,000 to $105,000, with a 10% pay differential for 2nd shift and a 20% differential for 3rd shift. Additional compensation includes annual incentive targets for bonuses. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, short‑ and long‑term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, tuition reimbursement, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation accrual of up to 120 hours in the first four years and 160 hours in the fifth year, and 15 paid holidays per year.
Paid parental leave is available after a minimum period of employment.
