Sprinkler Sales Estimator
We are looking for a Sprinkler Sales Estimator to handle estimates, proposals, and negotiations for sprinkler installation projects across the state of New Jersey. Prior fire protection experience is helpful but not required. What matters most is a willingness to learn, a commitment to working hard, and a drive to succeed.
Responsibilities- Meet customers, take measurements, and provide accurate estimates for new sprinkler systems.
- Build estimates, quotes, and pre‑engineering solutions for customers.
- Review construction contract documents and coordinate with general contractors/owners, gathering required information for design scope and shop drawing preparation.
- Collaborate with internal project management, field construction, design team, and other sales team members.
- Schedule onsite visits to meet customers face to face, build rapport, and survey life‑safety equipment to quote and sell contracts.
- Some formal sales experience beyond retail or hospitality; service sales experience preferred.
- Ready to commit to learning all about alarm and sprinkler systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); willing to learn Hub Spot and Service Trade.
- People‑oriented: ability to build strong customer relationships and act as a customer advocate.
- Salary $70,000–$80,000 per year with results‑driven bonus opportunities.
