Background & Purpose of the job
Sales forecast is the core of the supply chain and a major driver for the whole Supply chain efficiency. In this position, your mission is to ensure the consistency of the data to optimize Customers’ Fill Rate, all while maintaining healthy communication and collaborative analysis with Sales and Marketing teams.
This role is based in Parsippany, NJ, and offers a hybrid work environment.Who You Are & What You’ll Do
- Understand customers’ replenishment systems and use in conjunction with POS data and local Sales & Marketing information to develop a 12-month rolling sales plan by item.
- Control and maintain the Forecast in the system.
- Collaborate with the Sales Organization to ensure the validity and relevancy of the created sales plan.
- Collaborate with Customers, Sales, and Marketing to understand and follow promotion, cannibalization of in-line items, and incremental sales growth.
- Proactivity in the phase of IN/OUT communication and validation with Sales & Marketing Departments.
- Follow up on the road map for Top 10 customers.
- Maximize Forecast Accuracy and minimize Bias at the item/customer level.
- Understand and follow the weekly forecast process TRUST (sales forecasts adjustments, sanity check, etc.).
- Participate in the monthly pre-forecast Meeting.
- Associate's degree in business, Engineering, or other related fields, with more than two years of experience in the field.
- High sensibility to products & sales comprehension.
- Customer-oriented:
Good communication, organized, accurate, responsible, self-motivated. - Additional / Optional
Skills:
APICS education, at ease in SAP APO, Microsoft suite, customer systems such as Luminate, Sintella (Walmart), Vendor Central (Amazon), POL (Target), Circana IRI (Costco), etc.

Salary Range: $95,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
