Security Officer - 3rd Shift (Wednesday-Saturday)

Base pay range: $16.50/hr - $18.00/hr

As a Security Officer, you will provide a physical layer of security at all Cologix locations by implementing policies and procedures for the safety and security of employees, guests, and facilities.

3rd Shift: Wednesday‑Saturday, 10 pm – 8 am.

• Verify identities of employees, customers, and visitors entering and exiting the facility.
• Monitor all interior and exterior cameras, immediately addressing policy infractions, emergency situations, or suspicious activity.
• Control access of permitted visitors, issue temporary visitor badges, and deny individuals who do not meet entry criteria.
• Maintain accurate logs of all visitors/vendors using the People Tracker system.
• Conduct physical security checks per shift, patrolling assigned building interior and exterior, documenting findings.
• Monitor entry access and fire systems, respond to alarms.
• Notify appropriate local authorities (police, fire department, rapid response) in emergencies.
• Act as first responder in medical emergencies.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties as defined.
• Respond to job tickets, cases, and emails within the security department promptly.
• Ensure all security offices, equipment, and loading docks remain clean and organized.
• Seek guidance from the Security Supervisor when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED and one or more years of related experience and/or training.
• Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) license preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service orientation.
