Foreman – On‑site Labor Foreman (Industrial Fence & Gates)

Base pay range
: $48.33/hr – $51.33/hr

Wage Rate
: $48.33–$51.33 per hour + performance‑based bonuses. Wage may vary by location. Hours range from 40 to 60, depending on owner schedule. Weekends are not mandatory and uncommon.

Locations
:
Traveling to OH, PA, MD, WV, IN, NY, NJ & VA. Other states may be available.

Responsibilities
:

• Coordinate a crew to install high‑security fencing & gate systems.
• Perform pre‑dig inspections for underground utilities and be highly aware of all hazards above and below ground in substations.
• Perform all layout for posts and grades.
• Install foundations and posts to grade.
• Complete framing and panels/chain‑link construction.
• Install gates and stone along fence lines as needed.
• Read & interpret plans and shop drawings.
• Maintain safe practices among all crew members.
• Use equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, excavators, hydrovac trucks & man lifts.
• Work in live substations near energized equipment.

Requirements
:

• Minimum of 3 years related experience as a foreman for industrial fencing.
• Union member (or willingness to become union).
• Minimum of 3 years working in and around live substations.
• Ability to use computers and phones for timesheets and other reports.
• Knowledge of installing slide gates, gate operators and their accessories.
• Concrete forming experience for large foundations.
• Substation entry trained or badged.

Licenses / Certifications / Prerequisites
:

• Valid Driver’s License required. CDL license not required but preferred.
• OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 preferred.
• Drug testing and background checks.
