Crisis Support Worker

Job Description

We are looking for an on‑call Crisis Support Worker to add to our team! A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families is preferred. We will teach you the rest!

As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis. You are allowed a maximum of 30 hours a week. The shift begins at 5 pm. However, your schedule is flexible, and you can pick the days of the week that best work for you.

Shifts available:
Friday – Sunday. Support Workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area. We provide a company car, a cell phone, and a computing device.

• Compassionate, eager to learn, and wants to help children in times of crisis.
• Can communicate clearly and effectively.
• Desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills and a strong desire to advocate for children.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred:
  Previous work experience serving children and families.
• Part‑time role suitable for those looking for experience in the child welfare field.

You will receive a standard hourly rate of $14.00, company car, cell phone, and computing device. Shift flexibility and part‑time hours support work‑life balance.
