Swan Christian College is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Student Services Officer to join our team. This is a part-time position, with 5 days a week and 6 weeks of stand down (0.8851
FTE), that plays a key role in supporting the health, wellbeing,and daily operations of the College. As the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, you will be responsible for providing exceptional first aid care and contributing to anurturing and safe environment for students to thrive in.
In this role, you will work closely with pastoral care andwellbeing teams to ensure students' physical, social, and emotional needs are met, all while reflecting the Christian values of compassion, integrity, and respect.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Provide high-quality first aid care to students and ensure proper initial assessment of those presenting to Student Services.
- Act as the first point of contact for students, parents,and visitors to the College, offering compassionate and professional support.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with College policies using systems like TASS and SEQTA.
- Coordinate immunisations for Middle and Senior School students and follow up on parent inquiries efficiently.
- Process attendance for students arriving and leaving the College and ensure smooth administrative operations within
Student Services. - Collaborate with the wider College team, maintaining effective communication and supporting students'wellbeing.
- A personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and active involvement in a Christian Church.
- Ability to hold or currently hold a First Aid qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
- Competence in the use of computers and relevant systems for administrative tasks.
- A team-oriented approach with a commitment to fostering positive relationships within the College community.
- Willingness to adhere to College policies and procedures.
- Experience in a similar administrative or student services role, ideally in a school or educational setting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
