Instructor (part-time) College of Business Finance Academic year (POOL)
Applications to this pool will be utilized to fill part‑time Instructor roles, as needed in the Finance department for the academic year . Applications will be accepted into the pool on an ongoing basis.
The number of courses offered each semester by the College of Business is largely dependent on full‑time faculty leave of absences and student demand. Therefore, we often have the need for part‑time instructors with very short notice. Such positions will be filled utilizing qualified applicants from this pool.
The instructor will teach courses as assigned, prepare lesson plans, deliver instruction, manage grading and assessment, and fulfill course objectives. Course assignments will be determined by the department.
Eligibility and compensation:
Applicants must have a Master’s degree by the start date and a cohesive set of 18 semester credit hours of discipline‑relevant graduate coursework. A combination of a bachelor’s degree and experience in the program’s field in accordance with Ohio University policy 18.001 will also be considered. Preferred qualifications include industry experience in the field of instruction. This position is eligible for sick leave and retirement benefits.
