Job Description

We're looking for a full time, Engineer, Industrial 3

Responsibilities
  • Utilization of Lean Manufacturing tools to assist in preparing feasibility studies and ensure that costs incurred are justified. Leads continuous improvement projects.
  • Interact with customer representatives in a professional manner to understand, develop and deliver unique requests in a collaborative manner.
  • Confer with management and other related personnel to create designs and clarify or resolve any relevant issues.
  • Develop methods and make recommendations to reduce cost without compromising the safety and quality standards to ensure increased efficiency and quality.
  • Execute cost effective designs, research, and development work to the manufacturing process; including, assembly methods, production flow, and production equipment.
  • Assists with determining the root causes for system inefficiencies and failures and makes recommendations for changes in designs and the related processing methodologies.
Skills
  • Extremely well organized and should have the ability to identify problems and resolve them quickly.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent organization, planning and implementation skills.
  • Positive self-driven attitude with a high level of problem solving leadership, results oriented and deep level of experience with production techniques and product knowledge.
  • Adaptable to accept new changes in the field of lean manufacturing and should remain abreast with the latest developments happening in that field.
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with good negotiation and conflict management skills
Qualifications
  • Bachelor in Industrial Engineering.
  • 5+ years Industrial Engineering experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Munitions experience preferred.
