Our Sentinels are the frontline “special forces.” You’ll operate GlīderM in road and rail modes, execute inspections and maintenance, weld/fabricate when needed, and act as Glīd’s on-site ambassador.
Key Responsibilities- Operate GlīderM units in both on-road and rail modes, including remote driving operations when required
- Conduct pre-trip, in-operation, and post-trip inspections to ensure maximum safety and uptime
- Perform field-level maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Support digital twin development by collecting operational data, logging component performance, and documenting anomalies
- Provide operational feedback to engineering, product, and safety teams to improve system performance
- Maintain readiness for rapid deployment to customer sites, test facilities, and pilot programs
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FRA, OSHA, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
Required Qualifications
- CDL (Class A or
B) and/or GCoR (General Code of Operating Rules) rail certification preferred - Proficiency in machine shop practices, welding, and metal fabrication
- Technical knowledge of power electronics, vehicle systems, and hydraulics
- Experience in vehicle operation in both road and rail contexts strongly preferred
- Comfort with remote operations platforms and telematics
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in high-tempo environments
- GCoR certification or equivalent rail qualification
- Hi-rail/dual-mode vehicle experience; prior military/industrial field ops
Travel-heavy; multi-day/multi-week deployments; outdoor/industrial environments.
