DescriptionProvides professional nursing care for patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery units according to established procedures.
Education Requirements- Associate’s degree (A.D.N.) from a two‑year college or Bachelor’s degree (B.S.N.) from a four‑year college.
- Successful completion of a prescribed curriculum of study that has led to licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas.
- Evidence of experience as a licensed nurse on a staff level.
- Preferably at least two years of successful practice in nursing and preferably previous labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery experience.
- If no experience, on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- CPR
- NRP
- Basic fetal monitoring
- Intermediate fetal monitoring
- Advanced fetal monitoring
- STABLE (optional)
