Labette Health is hiring a Hospital Staff Pharmacist for a full‑time position in Parsons, KS.

• Prepares, compounds, and dispenses prescribed medication for patient care within the hospital, following established policies and procedures.
• Calculates and monitors drug dosages for safe and effective therapy as authorized by medical staff or individual physician instructions.
• Uses departmental and hospital processes and systems to ensure correct distributive and clinical pharmaceutical care activities.
• Maintains pharmacy services for routine patient care activities in the absence of the department director, exercising independent decision‑making as needed.
• Supervises pharmacy technical personnel in drug therapy preparations, with responsibility for double‑checking those activities prior to distribution to patients.
• Monitors dosing services and participates in drug therapy consultation meetings with patients as a clinician.
• Maintains educational competency in progressive hospital pharmacy standards and provides drug informational services to physicians, patients, and hospital personnel to ensure effective drug therapy.

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Completion of a pharmacy internship or at least one year of experience as a pharmacist preferred.
• Current license as a Pharmacist in the State of Kansas.
