. This role manages the operation of a Walgreens store and drives store performance, customer experience, and team development.
- Customer
Experience:
monitors and analyzes customer service, trains and coaches team members, resolves complaints, greets customers and patients, and delivers a distinctive customer and patient experience. - Operations: supervises store and pharmacy operations, including opening/closing, shift changes, scheduling, cash handling, merchandising, inventory management, receiving, pricing, and transfers; ensures cleanliness, safety, and compliance with laws and company policies.
- Daily Planning and Execution: assigns daily tasks, sets expectations, and ensures store team alignment with operational plans.
- Business Performance Management: analyzes financial and performance data, reviews KPIs, develops action plans to increase sales and control costs, and supports pharmacy and clinic performance.
- Business Planning: identifies sales opportunities, manages inventory levels, and adapts to seasonal changes.
- People and Performance Management: manages performance, coaching, hiring decisions, disciplinary actions, employee development, and communication with team members.
- Training and Personal Development: participates in trainings; supports pharmacy technician registration/licensure as required; pursues ongoing development.
- Communications: acts as liaison between district, corporate, and store; supports community outreach and events planning.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
- Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed Rph as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from start date.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- PTCB or ExCPT Certification.
- Three years retail management experience, including supervising others, managing, and assigning work.
- Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed Rph.

The actual salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
