Industrial Engineer 3 – Day & Zimmermann

• Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to prepare feasibility studies and justify costs, leading continuous improvement projects.
• Interact with customer representatives in a professional manner to understand, develop, and deliver unique requests collaboratively.
• Confer with management and other personnel to create designs and resolve relevant issues.
• Develop methods and recommend reductions in cost while maintaining safety and quality standards for increased efficiency.
• Execute cost‑effective designs, research, and development work for the manufacturing process, including assembly methods, production flow, and equipment.
• Assist in determining root causes for system inefficiencies and failures, recommending design and process changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Munitions experience preferred.
• Extremely well organized with strong problem‑solving and leadership skills.
• Strong oral and written communication, excellent organization, planning, and implementation skills.
• Positive, self‑driven attitude with results orientation and deep experience with production techniques and product knowledge.
• Adaptable to lean manufacturing developments and remaining abreast of latest advances.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills with conflict management abilities.
