Summary:

Provides professional nursing care for patients in labor, delivery, post partum, and nursery units according to established procedures.

Education Requirements:

Associate's degree (ADN) from two-year college or Bachelor's Degree (BSN) from four-year college and successful completion of a prescribed curriculum of study which led to licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas. Shows evidence of possessing experience as a licensed nurse on a staff level. Preferably has at least two years of successful practice in nursing and preferably previous labor, delivery, post partum and nursery experience.

If no experience must complete on-the-job training.

Required

Certifications:

CPR; NRP;
Basic fetal monitoring;
Advanced fetal monitoring;
Intermediate fetal monitoring; STABLE (optional)
