Reports Directly To: Store Director, Assistant Store Director

Directs: Stock Crew Leader, Receiver, Stockers, Dairy/Frozen

In this friendly, flexible team environment, you will play an important role in helping us deliver outstanding service in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. As a store leader, your role is to empower associates and solve problems through critical thinking.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining a well-stocked, well-merchandised, and faced store. If both the Store Director and Assistant Store Director are absent, you will assume their roles and assist with all store operations.

• Providing exceptional service to all customers
• Becoming knowledgeable about the Store Director’s and Assistant Store Director’s roles through training and updated policies to cover absences
• Closing the store 4-5 nights per week
• Managing grocery, frozen, and dairy ordering
• Performing daily maintenance of backroom, grocery, frozen, and dairy departments

• Training and developing employees to ensure a stable, qualified workforce by leading and providing necessary tools
• Scheduling grocery department staff
• Directing stock crew
• Maintaining honest and ethical relationships with team members, vendors, and suppliers
• Fostering a disciplined, respectful work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and critical thinking

• Communicating with management and staying updated on company policies and training procedures
• Maintaining records in compliance with government regulations and company policies
• Enforcing dress code and name tag policies

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, with dexterity in both hands. Ability to stand, move between workstations, and lift, carry, push, and pull items. Ability to use knives and sharp tools for food preparation. The role involves medium physical work, requiring good vision, hearing, and the ability to work on slippery floors.
