This is an entry-level job at store level. The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Floral Manager in providing good quality products to our customers in a clean, friendly environment.

Floral Department Manager

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Greet and thank every customer you come into contact with
• Assist the Floral Manager in completing all daily duties
• Comply with all company trim standards
• Assist in receiving trucks and breaking down loads into coolers
• Follow all safety guidelines and never bypass safety mechanisms
• Report missing or non-functional safety mechanisms to the Floral Manager
• Rotate all items as they are stocked
• Use markdown coupons to reduce products nearing expiration
• Use merchandising areas properly to promote sales of ad items or items bought on deal

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, and 10-20 lbs. constantly while moving and handling materials. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about to various work stations. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items to move objects toward areas of use.

Ability to use knives and other sharp instruments used in food preparation or removing products from boxes. This is medium work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, and physical ability to lift, carry, stoop, kneel, stand, reach, push, and pull, including working on slippery floors.
