Welder

Penmac Staffing is hiring a MIG Welder for a local manufacturing company. This is a full‑time, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on fabrication work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Day & Night Shift Available
• $20.67 per hour + $2.00 night shift differential

• MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Industrial experience or welding training preferred
• Ability to perform basic math
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check

• Lay out, torch, tack, and MIG weld parts to specification
• Read prints to determine material and setup needs
• Measure and inspect completed work for accuracy
• Remove slag, spatter, and imperfections
• Keep a clean and safe work area
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

• Walk throughout the facility and occasionally outdoors
• Stand for long periods on concrete or uneven surfaces
• Climb stairs and ladders; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Communicate clearly with team members

• Noisy, fast‑paced manufacturing setting
• Non‑air‑conditioned work areas
• Frequent forklift traffic
