Accounting Clerk

Base pay range: $25.00/hr - $27.00/hr

Overview: LHH is seeking a reliable Accounting Clerk to support our client's accounting team with both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately
• Assist with AP and AR reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
• Prepare and distribute customer invoices and follow up on outstanding balances
• Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts for accuracy
• Maintain vendor and customer files and resolve discrepancies
• Support month-end close activities and assist with reporting
• Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and record maintenance

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of accounting or clerical experience (AP/AR exposure preferred)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
