Tax Manager

Southern CA based accounting firm seeks a Tax Manager.

Specialize in providing business and tax consulting that keeps businesses growing while minimizing tax liabilities. We rely on accurate accounting, business and tax planning services, with a problem‑solving approach that saves clients money and maximizes profit potential.

Tax Manager – CPA required (Tax Senior – CPA preferred).

Location:

Pasadena, CA.

Employment type:

Full‑time.
Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 per year.

• Prepare complex tax returns and perform tax research.
• Respond to tax notices from taxing authorities.
• Review tax information supplied by the client and meet with and/or contact client regarding general or complex tax questions.
• Recognize, anticipate, and resolve tax issues and make recommendations.
• Adapt to the company's practices, policies, and culture.

3‑5 years of prior experience.

• CPA certified or CPA candidacy preferred.
• Strong organization, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Diligent work ethic and dedicated to providing superior client service.
• Excellent communication skills – oral, written, and interpersonal; ability to convey information clearly and concisely to upper‑level team members and clients.
• Strong client engagement skills.
• Must be proficient in corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning and compliance.
