Job TitleDental Manager – Bilingual Spanish
Requirements to Apply- Fluent in English and Spanish (REQUIRED)
- High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in dental practice management or similar role (community health preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (front and/or back office leadership roles)
- Ability to travel between sites as needed
- Preferred: FQHC/Community Health Center experience; experience with Next Gen/EDR
- Dental Assistant:
Diploma, X‑Ray, Infection Control, Coronal Polishing & BLS/CPR (AHA) - Registered Dental Assistant: RDA License, Diploma, X‑Ray, Infection Control, Coronal Polishing & BLS/CPR (AHA)
- Monday – Friday, with 1 Saturday per month
- 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, must be flexible to work until 7 PM as needed
We’re seeking a Dental Manager – Bilingual Spanish to oversee daily operations of a busy Pasadena dental clinic. This role manages both administrative and clinical support teams, including receptionists and dental assistants. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, community‑focused environment and ensures efficiency, productivity, and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Lead daily Dental Care Team Huddles and ensure proper documentation
- Model outstanding customer service as a representative of the clinic
- Train and support front office staff in financial transactions, coding, reconciliation, and use of Next Gen systems (EPM, EDR, EHR)
- Collaborate with Lead Dentist to optimize scheduling and provider productivity (20–22 appointments/day per provider)
- Monitor patient registration, eligibility, and financial screenings to improve workflows
- Ensure timely scheduling of new patients and follow‑up on no‑shows, cancellations, and treatment plans
- Maximize appointment scheduling efficiency and coach staff on productive scheduling methods
- Provide back‑office support when needed (if DA/RDA licensed)
