Education & Experience Requirements- Must possess a secondary school diploma (high school) or equivalent (GED).
- Preferred:
College units in child development or related field from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution. - Two years experience as a District Children's Services Assistant or equivalent, or other experience with preschool or school‑aged children.
- Immunization records for influenza, pertussis, and measles.
- Ability to read, write, and speak another language (e.g., Armenian, Spanish) is highly desirable.

- Attachments required:
- Immunization records (access state portal if needed).
- Proof of education: high school diploma/ GED → written exam; plus 48 semester units → no exam;
Associates degree or higher → no exam. - Resume.
- Degree verification for foreign transcripts: must be evaluated by a regionally accredited foreign degrees review agency; translated/notarized transcripts not acceptable.
Current PUSD employees: can submit a short application, provide documents for minimum qualifications, or transfer request for same classification. Recommendation letters not required but recommended.
