Paul Mitchell The School Pasadena is seeking a qualified Barbering Instructor to join our family. With over one hundred schools nationwide, Paul Mitchell Schools is growing rapidly. We are looking for someone who is passionate about educating, motivating, mentoring, and coaching Future Professionals in their technical and guest service skills, and who can create extraordinary learning experiences.
What We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have previous education and barber experience, as well as experience with Paul Mitchell products. This position requires strong communication, soft skills, professional development, and teamwork.
Skills / Competencies Required- Minimum 3 years experience in barbering.
- Current California barbering license.
- Experience instructing at a barber school (preferred).
- Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills.
- Skills in supervision, teamwork, and documentation.
- Solid work history with verifiable references.
- Passion for the beauty industry.
- Honesty and professionalism.
- Knowledge of Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems (preferred).
Background check will be performed for this position.
Salary: $20 - $22 per hour.
