Job Title:
Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer will focus on the full lifecycle design and development of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for spaceflight and ground support systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in schematic capture, circuit analysis, and component selection, with experience taking designs from concept through production and support.
Responsibilities- Design and develop complex PCBs for spaceflight and ground systems.
- Perform schematic capture and circuit analysis using industry-standard tools.
- Select components with consideration for reliability, availability, and radiation tolerance.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to ensure design integration.
- 10 years in electrical engineering, primarily focused on design.
- Proficient in PCB design and development.
- Experience with Altium and schematic capture.
- Hands‑on lab experience with oscilloscopes, multi‑meters, and other lab equipment.
- Familiarity with high‑speed digital design concepts, FPGA, and DDR SDRAM.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BS EE).
- Experience in aerospace/aviation or other regulated environments preferred.
- Understanding of MIL Spec requirements.
- Experience in embedded systems design and development.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 – $85.00/hr.
