What

You’ll Do

When you join Design Group as an Electrical Engineer, EIT you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world's leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject‑matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Design: Work on electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and integrating power, lighting, and fire alarm systems seamlessly.
  • NEC Knowledge: Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code to craft designs that meet the utmost safety and quality benchmarks.
  • Power Distribution: Design robust power distribution systems, skilled in both low and medium voltage applications, tailored to the specific needs of cutting‑edge manufacturing plants.
  • Load Flow Analysis: Optimize power distribution through precise load flow analysis, enhancing energy efficiency.
  • Innovative Lighting Design: Craft lighting solutions that boost safety, productivity, and energy conservation.
  • Collaborative Facilities Design: Engage in multidisciplinary projects, offering your electrical engineering expertise to forge comprehensive solutions.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize leading software like Easy Power, REVIT, and AutoCAD for sophisticated modeling and simulation.
  • Client Interaction: Directly collaborate with clients to align our electrical solutions with their unique objectives.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ Years of Relevant

    Experience:

    Electrical engineering design experience, particularly in the food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods sectors is ideal.
  • NEC Proficiency: A solid understanding of the NEC, ensuring compliance in all designs.
  • Power Distribution Expertise: Experience in low and medium voltage systems.
  • Load Flow Analysis

    Experience:

    Demonstrated ability in optimizing electrical systems.
  • Lighting Design Knowledge: Proficiency in industrial lighting solutions.
  • Multi-Discipline Design Exposure: Experience in integrated facilities design.
  • Software

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Easy Power, REVIT, and AutoCAD.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
