Grounds Maintenance Crew Member

JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision of the tax management team, the Tax Intern will support our ongoing corporate tax efforts while learning more about Reliance and our Family of Companies. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be utilized in maintaining accurate records and assisting with various corporate tax related activities This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in corporate tax and gain insight into our company’s policies and compliance knowledge.

• Prepare federal, state income & franchise tax returns and related workpaper support.
• Provide support to the tax team for various tax projects such as state research and sales and use tax compliance.
• Perform tax research and analysis when necessary.
• Assist tax team with tax notices and calculations.

• All other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in progress in accounting, finance, taxation, or business-related field required.
• Detail oriented, well organized with strong analytical skills.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects effectively and works well in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel.
• Must be able to work minimum 16 hours a week in the Pasadena office
