About This Role
This is a unique opportunity for a Per-Diem consultant to work in a client-facing role while collaborating closely with in-office teams, requiring strategic thinking and effective execution in a fast-paced environment. Travel time, mileage, and approved expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy. The company will provide all necessary resources and laptops.
- Low Caseload.
- Non-Agency:
Programs directly managed and operated by Expatiate Communications.
- Assess students within their education settings using an ecological model.
- Provide treatment, program consultation, and environmental modifications to improve student function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including teachers, physical therapists, and speech pathologists.
- Maintain knowledge of California laws and policies governing special education and occupational therapy services.
- Monitor therapy programs and consult with staff on treatment strategies.
- Provide interpretation of assessment reports to families and recommend activities to support motor goals at home.
- Maintain timely and accurate student records.
- State Board Certified Occupational Therapist License.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Able to complete satisfactory Live Scan background screening and TB clearance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
