Pay: $21.63/hr - $30.54/hr compensation based on experience and equity.

The Patient Access Representative is the first person that our patients and caregivers will have the opportunity to interact. This position provides support to our patients as they are experiencing a life‑changing event. The support is accomplished by working with the caregiver to schedule appointments, perform pre‑registration and registration of new and existing patients, and provide patients with information regarding access to additional external financial resources.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to support our patients with issues dealing with scheduling and questions for the provider(s). Additionally, you will maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory agencies by obtaining various consents.
- Answer incoming calls into the main operator line of the facility
- Greets and directs patients/families presenting for appointments and treatment
- Accurately enter and update patient information into the computer system
- Enter and update patient’s insurance information
- Perform check‑in of patients who arrive for scheduled appointments or admissions
- Prepare and secure signatures on required treatment and billing authorization forms
- Scan necessary documents into the EHR system
- Verify insurance coverage for all patients receiving services
Education: High School diploma required
Experience: Bilingual required. One year experience in scheduling and registration required. One year receptionist/switchboard experience required.
