Job SummaryConduct regulatory audits, surveys, and site visits to prepare for and facilitate on‑site evaluations. Ensure licensing and accreditation by reviewing requirements for new, existing, and expanding facilities/services. Perform routine audits and mock surveys, track progress, and develop corrective action plans. Provide subject‑matter expertise on internal policies and external regulations, develop educational programs, and manage practitioner data.
Essential Responsibilities- Promote learning by providing resources, feedback, and coaching; build relationships with stakeholders.
- Complete work autonomously and lead cross‑functional initiatives; solve complex problems and manage project timelines.
- Serve as regulation subject‑matter expert: stay current on policies, advise on enforcement, create educational content, and consult on policy interpretation.
- Manage data and reporting: enter data into databases, analyze provider data, and draft action plans.
- Ensure licensing and accreditation: review standards for facilities, conduct gap analyses, and mentor teams.
- Conduct regulatory audits and surveys: prepare documentation, coordinate site visits, deliver reports, and facilitate corrective action plans.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership role.
- Minimum 2 years experience with databases and spreadsheets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field plus either 5 years in health care operations, quality, or risk management OR 8 years in those areas.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Compliance Management, Health Care Policy, Health Care Data Analytics, Consulting, Managing Diverse Relationships, Delegation, Project Management, Risk Assessment, Quality Assurance Process, Health Care Quality Standards, Evidence‑Based Medicine Principles.
- Health care clinical license in the applicable state (RN, RPh, PT, OT, ST, SW).
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
